The wheel choice on my Demon it partially based on sentiment, partially based on what I think will add some performance.

Of course the Volvo Pegasus 18″ R rims are very nice and good looking rims.
The tires of choice with this set are Bridgestone Potenza S03, size 225/40-18.
I have this set available for the car but it remains to be seen if they will ever be fitted again.
Rim size is 18″ x 8 ET46, 5×108 bolt pattern.

The reason for this is that I aquired a set of OZ Superturismo rims to give the car a more racy look while adding some performance because of the lesser weight of these rims.
Currently the tires used are Bridgestone Potenza S03 tire size 225/40-18.
Rim size is 18″ x 8 ET40, 5×108 bolt pattern.

The third choice…
As some already may have noticed I have been cought with the Nürburgring fever last year. For this matter I have decided to more or less convert The Swede Demon II to a so called “Ring Tool”. Apart from all the other changes I also have been looking at semi race tires. With the Swede Demon 1 I already used used a pair of 17″ Pegasus rims with Pirelli Corsa tires fitted for the front axle but some track experience learned that the rear tires needed to be on par to optimize performance. For this to happen I could opt for an extra pair of Pegasus 17″ rims but these rims are pretty heavy and also costly.
The reason for using 17″ rims instead of the preferred 18″ is because most race classes use 17″ tire sizes as a standard. Most semi race tires are better available in this size and I want to see how the Demon performs following these standards.
Tires of choice are Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 225/45-17 tires, a semi race tire.
Rim size is 17″ x 8 ET40, 5×108 bolt pattern.
